Governance and administration
Help with records, policies, meetings and the community benefit society.
Help shape the future of the Master Mariner
A community effort
We are looking for local people who care about the Master Mariner and can help turn a responsible reopening plan into reality. You do not need pub experience—commitment, sound judgement and a willingness to share the work are just as important.
Express your interest →Where you could help
We welcome interest from Brighton Marina residents and others who have a genuine connection to the area or useful experience to offer.
Help with records, policies, meetings and the community benefit society.
Support budgets, grant applications, community funding and financial scrutiny.
Bring experience of buildings, refurbishment, health and safety, licensing or procurement.
Help residents have their say and keep public information clear, accurate and useful.
Contribute practical knowledge of food, drink, events, customer service or pub operations.
Take ownership of agreed actions and help move work forward between meetings.
How it works
Include your connection to the area, relevant skills and why you would like to help.
We will discuss the project, current workload, meeting arrangements and where you could contribute.
Expressions of interest will be considered by the steering committee. Contact does not guarantee appointment.
